Our second day in Paris, we took the metro to the Cite, and
saw Saint Chappelle. It was
awesome! We were in line for a bit and
spoke to an American as well as some girls traveling from Autstralia. The line was not too long and the chapel was
gorgeous! From there, we walked along
the Seine to Notre Dame. Ty knew that we
were going to end up there and he told me to close my eyes and follow him. What a sight!! As were ascended the steps, Notre Dame was
right there. It took Sarah’s breath
away! We geeked a lot while we walked
around the awesome cathedral. The line
was ridiculously long, so we didn’t even try to get it. Instead, we kept on going all along the outside
and headed to the L’Ouvre. We didn’t
really want to go in, but rather see it from a distance. It is such a magnificent building! From there, we tried to find lunch at a place
that our friends suggested, but it didn’t suite our wants at the time. Instead, we went to went to see the Arch di
Triophme. It ended up being a
frustration because most of the boulevard was closed off for some reason. Instead, we found a little place where Ty got
some ham and fries ( a local classic ) and then we headed to the metro. We found a little café near our hotel which
had happy hour prices and we were very happy with the service. It was a great day!
